I love the idea of collaborating on your final look.  Illamasqua is working with London funeral home Leverton & Sons to provide make-up services for your very final final look.  "To wear the most fabulous makeup applied by a professionally trained makeup artist for your final journey is the ultimate statement of celebration," stated the company's blog.  They describe it as "the final act of self-expression."

The Lanvin children’s line debuted for Resort 2012.  How cute are they?  However, growing up in Lanvin sets the bar high in life, doesn’t it? 

Time for Change

For many years, I’ve had elbow length hair.  That's what I tell my hairdresser when I get it trimmed.  One even took it literally & wanted to check my hair against my elbow (I’m not complaining though--I always appreciate meticulousness!).  However, I’ve been growing bored with my look & am now obsessed with Freja’s length. 

"Never Let Me Go"

I watched "Never Let Me Go" a month or two ago & it still lingers with me.  It is definitely not your typical science fiction movie.  It reads more like a period film.  The scenery is what you expect from an English movie with tweeds, thick sweaters & wellies.  It's visually stunning & the story is just so haunting that for the first time, I wonder if the book is as good as the movie. 

I Heart Balenciaga

I normally don’t gravitate towards flat shoes, but I love these two pairs by Balenciaga.  Of course, they are no where near being “sensible shoes,” which is probably why I love them!

I had this Miu Miu clutch in my hands at Barney’s.  Oh, why didn’t I buy it???

On the Fringe

These are two of my Prada lost loves.  I didn’t even attempt to get the dress, but I was always on the fence on the tote.  I worried I wouldn’t carry it.  I’m not too much of a tote bag girl…  However, I always still come back to these pictures & look at them with a longing.  Maybe one day…
