I love when fashion designers infiltrate popular culture...well, more popular culture. This is Muscleman Marc, one of Eric Cartman's toys on "South Park." Marc Jacobs made a statement saying that he will make this his next tattoo.
I have to say, while researching "Muscleman", I really enjoyed learning about one of Cartman's other toys, "Captain Hindsight".

Last night, I attended the book signing for Carine Roitfeld's "Irreverent" at Book Marc.
Too bad all I can ever muster up whenever I meet her is, "You're my favorite!" She was really sweet & cordial. I love that she asks your name & then concludes with "Nice to meet you, ___!"

I've been craving tuxedo jackets lately. I definitely want a black one with a leather shawl collar. I want a white one as well, but definitely after I find a black one. Slim pants & a jacket are definitely my go-to in the winter.

I never met a pair of cateye glasses I don't like, but these jeweled ones by Sonia Rykiel are lovely. Gems are not really usually my thing, but I never say never because I know I will always meet that one exception!

I was never one for vision boards, but I guess this is my version of a "vision board." I like to think it's more of an "eye on the prize" board. These are all pictures of J.Crew's Jenna Lyons's brownstone & one day, I want one just like it. (God, I love the dark walls!)

I love her color & length of Coco Rocha's hair. I've been toying with the idea of going red & while my significant other refuses to divulge his preference, he did admit to being partial to red. Maybe I will have to look into that... (I love her whole look, too!)
H&M announced they are doing a capsule based on the Lisbeth Salandder (a.k.a. "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"). Trish Summerville who designed the costumes from the American film version is designing the capsule. I never read the books or watched the Swedish versions, but this glimpse (& especially the look on the far left) is piquing my interest.
I love foreign movies, but I have to say the trailer for the Hollywood version caught my attention. I am a sucker for Karen O's singing...
