I’ve always wanted a pair of the checkered classic Vans slip-on’s, but they just don’t flatter by big ol’ feet.  However, these custom Vans made for Robert Verdi from Hermès scarves might be worth it!  Too bad I’m not a V.I.P.  Maybe one day…

I Dream of Africa

My significant other somehow talked me into going on an outdoor vacation to Wyoming.  I am not sure what I have gotten myself into.  While I like to daydream of own adventure being as chic as this "Vogue" spread featuring Kiera Knightley on safari, I'm not holding my breathe.  This is how safari SHOULD look...  Wish me luck!

What Was I Thinking Moments...

A good friend of mine once said, “If you don’t look funny in your old pictures, it means you weren’t in style!”  That said, I still have my moments of buyers’ remorse.  Patent leather mini backpack, anyone?

 

To console us of our own remorse, racked.com has a recurring feature of the same name that shares other buyers’ misadventures & bad decisions.  One guy even blames a possible fever.  Uh huh, likely story...

Inked

I’m kind of loving the idea of getting my fingers tattooed. I know it's hard to hide, but I like how subtle, yet everyday it is.  

I also love the placement of these tattoos on Erin Wasson.  However, it reminds me of this comedian's shtick about men who only have tattoos wrap around the outside of their arm & not the underside because it's "ouwee." 

Pink Lady

I’ve never been one for pink, but these looks are so not what you expect from pink!  Maybe I’ll have to break down & don some pink this summer.

I’ve been obsessed with these Tom Binns pieces for a while.  I bought a vintage crystal rhinestone necklace in hopes of D.I.Y.-ing one for myself.  However, I’m still in search of neon paint...
