When I first saw the Prada fruit prints, I wasn’t buying it. I thought it was silly & way too quirky. However, I have to admit that it’s growing on me. I realized I was fully smitten when the banana manicure made me smile.
Those who know me know that the idea of having children scare me. That said, I love the idea of Alber Elbaz re-launching the Lanvin children's line. While it sounds like a bold move, children's wear has always been a part of the Lanvin history. Mrs. Lanvin got her start in children's clothing in 1908 & was also known for her mother-daughter looks. Their logo even features a mother & daughter holding hands. The collection will debut in a June show & hit Lanvin stores in summer 2012. Too bad those clothes would bite into mommy’s clothing budget!
I love redheads & I love dying my own hair red so you can only imagine how envious I am of Karen Elson. Not only is she a redhead, but she also snagged the super talented Jack White. So, when I found out she could sing, I was indignant about how unfair life can be! But then I heard her sing in this video & I couldn’t help, but be tamed by the lovely sound of her voice.
My favorite sandals are still my $29 Urban Outfitters fringe sandals. I got them two summers ago & they are on their last leg. Is it dumb to re-sole $29 sandals when re-soling them would definitely cost more than the price of the shoe? I just love them though!
I also love these flat sandals—also by Miu Miu. It is so hard to find good flat sandals, but the color & shape of these shoes are stunning & perfect to take me into high summer!
This is my new shoe obsession. I need these Miu Miu heels. I know they are crazy & I know some would say they are ugly, but I adore them. I think they would be perfect for summer, with dresses, with jeans & even in the winter with tights. I can’t wait!
I just finished watching "The Runaways" & just loved Dakota Fanning's wardrobe in the movie. They described her as part Brigitte Bardot & part David Bowie. I just love the 70's glam that's just a little roughed up.
