You Can't Always Get What You Want

I saw these shoes & immediately searched high & low for them.  Then, I found out that she bought them at the Christian Louboutin sample sale & they have never been produced.  I almost cried when I found out!  How do you get an invite to this elusive sale!

Imma Be the Flyest Chick

I know it's weird, but I'm obsessed with this look that Fergie has on the "Imma Be" video.  I love it from metal visor & clear acrylic shoulder pads down to the cape & silver Christian Louboutin booties.  It's so futuristic & creative.  I was even looking for a metal visor for a while.  (If anyone know where I can find one, please let me know!)

I officially became a fan of Fergie after watching this video.

Happy New Year!

I just love this image.  It shows the allure of a Louboutin.

Anyway, just wanted to wish everyone a happy & healthy new year!

Sneaker Pimps

I have never been a sneakers girl, but I'm loving these looks.  I keep thinking maybe I can pull off the Christian Louboutin Louis studded hi-top sneakers like in the look right below.  Of course, I love anything Taylor Tomasi-Hill does, but these looks really make hi-top sneakers look chic.

Deeper Shade of Sole

Whenever they ask what kind of shoe I am, I don't even have to think about it.  I am most definitely a platform!  And I love these Prada platforms.  It's all the in details & aside from the obviously cool gold ankle cuff, what I love about Prada shoes is the color of the soles.  They are the perfect, luxurious shade of rosy pink.  While there is an obvious appeal to Louboutin's red soles, Prada (& Alaia for that matter) have the most luxurious color on their soles that you can tell were carefully picked as their signature.

Lost Sole

I can't believe Louboutin lost the patent on their signature red soles.  I know it's a color & you can't patent a color, but it meant more than that.  It was clever, so sexy & really set them apart.  I don't know where I stand on the issue, but I'm still in shock.  Does that mean the red sole is going to show up everywhere no longer making is special?
I guess it's just as well that the Louboutin shoes I'm coveting for fall are flat:
